Being run out is one of the most embarrassing and unfortunate ways to be dismissed in the game of cricket. Mohammad Nawaz made the list of one of these unlucky players, as he was lazily walking back to his crease in the Asia Cup match against India on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium

‌The Super Four game between India and Pakistan has been an exciting battle where both teams have been evenly matched. Pakistan batters had dominated the first half of the innings with the score reading 91/1. However, the Men in Blue made a slight comeback in the next five overs as the Green Shirts' score slumped to 119/4 in the next five overs. There have been many dramatic and absurd moments during this rivalry game featuring both teams in the tournament.

One of these incidents took place on the third delivery of the 19th over, bowled by Jasprit Bumrah, where Mohammad Nawaz was seen lazily walking back in his crease and was run out in the most embarrassing fashion by Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav.  Though the referral was delayed, the all-rounder was caught outside his crease as Yadav’s throw dislodged wickets at the striker's end. This was a pure example of a lack of presence of mind by Nawaz, who made a long walk back into the dressing room on a score of 21 off 19 deliveries.

Nawaz was caught dozing in the middle by Suryakumar Yadav.
