England beat Scotland by 10 wickets, enhancing their net run rate (NRR) and bolstering their chances for the semi-finals. Scotland struggled to establish substantial partnerships and finished at 109/6 while Maia Bouchier and Danielle Wyatt-Hodge wrapped up the match for England in just 10 overs.

‌Scotland’s choice to bat first on a bowling-friendly surface did not yield favorable results against England in Sharjah. Openers Sarah Bryce and Saskia Horley provided a solid start, reaching 29/0 by the end of the powerplay. However, the first setback came when Nat Sciver-Brunt dismissed Horley in the eighth over. The situation worsened when Sarah Bryce failed to capitalize on her innings and departed, leaving Scotland at 51/2 in the 11th over. Alisa Lister followed suit after hitting a few big shots, as the Scottish side continued to struggle with partnerships. With the wickets of Lorna Jack-Brown and Kathryn Bryce falling, Scotland was reeling and hoping for a spark. Lacking substantial contributions from the lower order and facing clinical bowling from England, Scotland ended up restricted to 109/6 in their allotted 20 overs.

In reply, England openers Maia Bouchier and Danielle Wyatt-Hodge got off to a spectacular start, scoring aggressively from the first over. The pair propelled England to 66/0 by the end of the powerplay, almost sealing their victory. They kept the scoreboard ticking with their aggressive batting, as Bouchier notched a remarkable half-century off just 30 balls. England's score reached 100/0 in nine overs, needing only 10 runs for victory. Wyatt-Hodge also reached her half-century in 26 deliveries, leading England to a resounding 10-wicket victory within just 10 overs. This win provided the Three Lions with two vital points and strengthened their net run rate for a spot in the semi-finals.
